Lance pipe is used for blowing in steelmaking, it is made of steel pipe with inside & outside surface calorized & ceramic coated, it has a great advantage in anti-oxidation, anti- sulphurization, thermal resistant, anti-erosion, easy operation.
Wire Filled Thermic Lance Pipe
The wire filled thermic lance pipe consists of a long steel pipe packed with alloy steel rods, sometimes mixed with aluminum rods to increase the heat output. One end of the pipe is placed in a holder and oxygen is fed through the tube.

Crushing the additives (deoxidant, desulfurizer, alloys) into certain granulation (in the form of powder), then, using the equipment to fill the powder into the “U” shaped sheath, which is made of high quality cold rolled steel strip, lastly, tightly closing the wire, so a multiple material (cored wire) with certain length will be obtained.
The electrode surface is tin plated, corrosion-resistant, and has good conductivity. The end is equipped with a lifting ring for easy on-site installation. The fastening of the rubber hose to the electrode adopts two stainless steel clamps, which are safe and reliable. The outer protective sleeve uses high-quality rubber hose, which is soft and has good bending performance. The soft wire is made of high-strength enameled wire, which is corrosion-resistant and has no surface skin effect.
Furnace conductive arm is composed of electrode cooling spray ring, electrode hoop, electrode clamp, electrode soot blower, electrode clamping system, conductive arm body, water inlet pipe, water outlet pipe, oil inlet pipe, metal hose, and water-cooled cable connecting plate.
Electrode holding ring is used for holding electrodes tightly, it made of stainless steel and produced by forged or by cast/welding technology, dimensions & model are customized as per customer’s drawing.
Light burned magnesia slagging ball, we also called Cinder ball (as mentioned below) and MgO Ball. Cinder Ball are made of Caustic Calcined Magnesite powder by balling under high pressure, which are a kind of products applied to a rotary melting furnace slag making.
