After being subjected to sodium modification, the bentonite ores of our company contribute significantly to cast quality improvement. It can effectively improve the wet compressive strength, hot wet tensile strength, gas permeability and high temperature re-usability of the molding sand and reduce the sand moisture, enabling good toughness, formability and collapsibility of the molding sand. It effectively prevents defects such as sand inclusion, crusting, rat-tail and sand landslide in the casting process and reducing the amount of new soil added, so that the rate of scrap casts due to the molding sand dramatically drops. Through the strong formability, good gas permeability and high cavity strength favorable to wet or dry molds cast with molten metal, the bentonite ores of our company are the preferred sand binder for precision casts.
